Lossa Engineering shows us how to do it

This is a 1978 Yamaha SR500 built by Lossa Engineering, it has a Benelli gas tank with a Lossa Custom gas cap and handmade Yamaha emblems, hand made steel tail section, custom re orientated single tach gauge with custom Lossa gauge face that was molded into the stock SR headlight bucket, racing foam for seat, bobbed front Honda fender, custom GSXR front forks and triples with clip ons, tapered head bearing conversion, GSXR rearsets, Brembo front rotor and caliper adapted to GSXR front end, rear Brembo caliper with custom machined caliper bracket and stock SR rear rotor with CNC drilled holes, hand made and cut custom fork brace, custom water jetted sprocket carrier with modern 530 sprocket, gold chain, RD400 18" front and rear mags, Rare Cal Fab swing arm, custom rear brake stay, Tomaselli head light ears, wired from scratch, Works Shocks, all aluminum was first polished, then brushed then clear coated, Motor was bored to 600cc with a White Brothers big Bore kit, White Brothers cam, ported and polished head, fresh valve job with heavy duty valve springs, motor was completely torn down, split cases, new bearings and seals throughout, custom made intake and Mikuni flat slide carb, K&N filter, custom made black braided oil lines, stainless steel bolts used everywhere possible, stock wrapped header and a Lossa reverse cone muffler, Rizoma mirror, Dunlop tires, frame was completely de tabbed and hooped before powder coating, powder coated engine side covers with sprocket cover welded to stator cover before drilling lightning holes and powder coating, All House of Kolor paint was used, everything on this bike was replaced, rebuilt or restored, 100% restoration/ customization.
There is over 200 hours of customizing, machining, welding, hand fabrication and hard work on this bike. Please read whole auction and realize the amount of time and effort that was put into this bike before you ask any questions!
