The most distinguished ride of the year is now in the books. With over 35 countries and more than 145 cities worldwide, the DGR managed to raise over 200.000$ for charity. That's no small feat, considering that this event is only at its second year.
I've been enthusiastic about it from the start and this year 35 people joined me here in Thailand. We had 2 groups participating: one from Pattaya and another from Bangkok. Both groups met halfway in Bang Saen, a little beach town in Chonburi province.
The Bangkok group got soaked on the way down, but luckily the weather in Bang Saen was great. Actually, it was pretty hot...I even got a sunburn on my bald head!
It was great to meet some very fine and like-minded gentlemen and gentle ladies from Thailand, Russia, England and Australia.
We had some cool prizes for the most distinguished riders, including Addiction t-shirts, Omega toolrolls, and of course t-shirts from Elders Helmets, who was so generous to give away a very cool Daytona helmet.
Thank you all for participating and donating for the good cause and hope to see you again next year!

Mr. Igor, the lucky winner of an Elders Helmet!
Gents just arrived from Bangkok, where they got pretty soaked.
While we were having lunch, a newly wed couple came to take their wedding pictures. They didn't come on bikes, but they sure as hell knew the dress code!
