It's been almost a year since the old 'Train Station Market' near Chatuchak Market had to move to Srinagarind Road, and many (including me) were worried it would lose its charme and relaxed atmosphere.
Au contraire! Not only has it retained that unique mix of retro and antique style, foodie heaven and shopping extravaganza, but it has definitely gained in space, which is a life saver for a claustrophobic like me.
Moreover, I was surprised at just how many vintage bikes (and cars) there were on show.
The market is open during the weekend, but many stalls and restaurants are open all week.
You can find it on Srinagarin Road, just behind Seacon Square shopping mall.
It's huge, so I suggest you go early, send the girlfriend or wife off in the maze of small clothing stalls, an enjoy the more tranquil antique shops all around.
